Aprunculus of Treves (also known as Abrunculus) (died 532) was a Roman Catholic Bishop of Trier since 511. He became bishop upon the death of his predecessor, Fibicius, and served in that capacity through 532. He is considered a saint, with a feast day of April 22 at Trier. His relics are at Sprengersbach and at Helwardschausen. He is considered the patron saint of Bruchsal in Baden-Württemberg. ==Life== Aprunculus have belonged to the clergy at the Theuderic I's realm. There are unhistorical facts reporting that Saint Gall have acted in Trier, but he lived much later than Aprunculus of Treves. The widespread lack of precipitation of his person and the other bishops of Trier in the late of 5th and early 6th century in contemporary sources suggests a relatively low (political) importance of Trier Church in this period.〔()〕 His death was in the year of the inauguration of his successor Nicetius. 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Aprunculus of Treves」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
